*CHRYSANTHEMUM POTTED PLANTS ARE ADDED AT RANDOM POSSIBLY FROM LATE WINTER BUT MORE LIKELY OVER SPRING AND SUMMER AS THEY ARE READY TO SHIP, I DO NOT NOTIFY ANYONE WHEN STOCK IS ADDED, IT IS JUST ADDED AT RANDOM TO THE WEBSITE WHEN they are READY, the demand for chrysanthemums is high and they can sell out quickly, so best to keep an eye on the website for available stock.
*BARE ROOTED BERRY PLANTS ARE AVAILABLE FROM MAY UNTIL THE START OF SPRING, SHIPPED WHILE PLANTS ARE DORMANT. BERRY STOCK IS ADDED AT RANDOM AS THEY ARE READY TO SHIP NOT EVERYTHING IS STOCKED AT THE SAME TIME, AND SOME ARE IN LIMITED NUMBERS DUE TO THE HIGH DEMAND. DELIVERY TIMES AND SHIPPING
▪︎I can ship plants, seeds, dried flowers and tubers to anywhere in mainland Australia, with the exception of WA, NT and TAS due to quarantine laws.
▪︎Unfortunately I do not ship anything internationally.
▪︎Smaller orders are shipped without tracking in a large brown envelope via Australia post, larger orders will receive tracking at Sam’s discretion. Small orders in envelopes can not be sent to parcel locker addresses as Australia post do not accept envelops in parcel lockers, please make sure you have an actual postal address on your order as this is out of my control. Australia post shipping times are out of my control and can range from 2 business days to 14 business days depending on region of Australia they are going to and the time of year. If your order has taken longer than 14 business days please contact Sam for help.
▪︎Order packing times may be longer than usual during peak periods, (when dahlias, berries or chrysanthemums are released), extended public holidays or if extreme weather conditions are not suitable for live plant transport. All products are shipped via Australia post, delivery times may vary depending on their delays, Seeds are usually packed within 1 to 6 working days after order is placed. Unless longer delays are stated on my website.
▪︎Fresh flowers can only be delivered within the local delivery area, check order fresh flowers page for details.
▪︎Handcrafted metal plant supports, fences and bird baths and farm stand flowers are the only items that you can select pick up, everything else is sent out via Australia post, with no exceptions. IF YOU SELECT PICK UP FOR OTHER ITEMS I WILL CONTACT YOU AND SEND YOU AN INVOICE TO PAY FOR POSTAGE.
▪︎No plants, seeds, dried flowers or tubers can be shipped to TAS, NT or WA due to the quarantine laws of these states, if you try and order these products from these states or territories or remote islands, or outside of Australia your order will be cancelled and refunded and you may be charged an administration fee of $5.00 OT 6% OF THE TOTAL to cover stock level re-entry and website fees.
▪︎Unfortunately I do not send to remote islands and Territories such as Christmas Island, Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island, Cocos Islands, Groote Eylandt (Alyangula) due to local quarantine restrictions.
▪︎Once an order is placed, it cannot be altered. Any addition is treated as a new order and handled separately with a new freight charge.
▪︎All products are shipped via Australia post, with the exception of Handcrafted metal plant supports, fences and bird baths that may be delivered by myself or Bren within selected delivery areas, check website for details or contact Sam if you are out of delivery area and require a freight quote.
▪︎Fresh flowers can not be posted and are also delivered by Sam or Bren in person to selected suburbs in Melbourne’s East only, see ORDER FRESH FLOWERS for details on towns we deliver too.
▪︎Please note when paying via eCheque using paypal, it isn't an instant payment, the money can take 4 to 7 business days to clear. PayPal recommends it is best to wait until the eCheque has cleared before shipping items, so I will not be able to ship your items until payment has cleared.
▪︎I do not ship to freight forwarding centers even within Australia, seeds and plants and tubers can only be shipped to customers addresses within the states I can legally ship too, any order that requires a third party will be cancelled, as I will not take on the risk of things getting destroyed at the border after being forwarded to a freight forwarder center or the product then being returned to myself after being rejected at the border. If an order is shipped to a third party freight forwarding center without my knowledge I will not be held responsible for the product once it has been received by the third party, the product is no longer in my control and anything could happen to it after being receive by the third party, you will have to accept fault if product goes missing or is damaged or faulty if shipped to a freight forwarding center. This includes people trying to ship tubers to a third party processing center within Australia to then forward tubers onto WA or TAS, I will not ship tubers to these places all the extra steps involved to get a tuber ready for processing is a huge amount of extra work and as a single person doing everything in this company I simply do not have time, please do not request for me to send tubers to a processing company as I will unfortunately cancel those orders.
▪︎Flower Presses can be shipped Australia wide.
▪︎Please read conditions before ordering ranunculus plants. Ranunculus are a cool season crop, so if you are an area that is warm over winter they may not be suited to your climate, temps around 26C and higher will make Ranunculus start to go dormant, please consider this before ordering. These are living plants shipped via express post, however if you know you are very remote part of Australia and often have postal delays please note the following before ordering, as Ranunculus do not like to be in a box for very long. I will not be held responsible for Australia post delays nor will I be responsible for not opening and unpacking your plants as soon as they arrive. I recommend shipping cut flower plants to major cities in Australia (in states I can ship to) and across Victoria, I can post to regional locations however the delays may mean plants arrive slightly yellow as regional post in other states often has delays, please consider this before ordering, I can not control how long Australia post takes to deliver to regional areas, city postage and Victoria postage is usually much faster. Ranunculus will need to be acclimatised to your location before being planted outside as these plants are coming out of my shade house in cool Victoria so will need to be hardened off. If you are in a very cold location please note Ranunculus appreciate protecting from frost when temps get below -4C, so you may want to look at frost cloth or low tunnels for very cold climates. UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO HOW FRAGILE THEY ARE, SHIPPING DELAYS AND THE DIFFERENCE IN TEMP ACROSS THE STATES, I CAN NOT SHIP THEM OUTSIDE OF VICTORIA OR SYDNEY METRO OR ADELIADE METRO AUSTRALIA. IF YOU ORDER FROM OUTSIDE OF THOSE AREAS YOU WILL BE REFUNDED. I CAN’T BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR AUSTRALIA POST DELAYS WITH PLANTS. WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR SMALL DAHLIA PLANTS PLEASE REMEMBER YOU MUST COLLECT YOUR PLANTS IMMEDIATLEY FROM THE POST OFFICE I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR PLANTS NOT COLLECTED OR UNPACKED STRAIGHT AWAY WHEN DELIVERED. PLEASE KEEP THE PLANTS OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT WHILE THEY RECOVER FROM SHIPPING, KEEP IN A SHELTERED LOCATION AT AROUND 14 TO 20C, NOT TOO HOT OR TOO COLD. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU TREAT THEM AS FRAGILE AND WATER THEM ACCORDINGLY.
▪︎WHEN PUCHASING PLANTS, EITHER BARE ROOTED OR IN POTS OR TUBERS, PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE LIVING PLANTS AND HAVE BEEN SENT EXPRESS POST PLEASE REMEMBER YOU MUST COLLECT YOUR PLANTS IMMEDIATLEY FROM THE POST OFFICE, I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR PLANTS NOT COLLECTED OR BOXES THAT ARE NOT UNPACKED STRAIGHT AWAY WHEN DELIVERED. THIS INCLUDES CHRYSANTHEMUMS, DAHLIAS, BERRIES AND CUT FLOWER PLANTS. LIVING PLANTS NEED TO BE TREATED AS FRAGILE AND BE CARED FOR, I HAVE DONE MY PART IN GROWING AND PACKAGING THEM WITH LOVE AND CARE, PLEASE REMEMBER WHEN ORDERING THEM THAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCEPTING THE ORDER STRAIGHT AWAY AND UNPACKING THEM TO GIVE THEM THE BEST START, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DELAYS IN TRANSIT NOR FOR LACK OF CARE ONCE RECEIVED. YOU WILL BE SENT A TRACKING NUMBER FOR YOU PLANT ORDERS VIA THE EMAIL YOU ADD TO YOU ORDER, PLEASE TRACK YOUR PACKAGE VIA AUSTRALIA POST SO YOU CAN COLLECT AND UNPACK IT ASAP.
▪︎If you fail to collect your package from Australia post office within two weeks or you give me the wrong postal address and do not receive your order, I am not at fault and will not be refunding or resending those orders. You will need to reorder the products at full cost they will not be replaced or refunded by myself. Please make sure the correct address is on your order when placing your order, as once shipped I can not resend it to a different address. If you leave plants at the post office for too long and then Australia post returned the order to me, the plants or tubers may be dead and you will not be receiving a refund, I have done my part in shipping live plants by express and you are at fault for not collecting them, you must collect plants immediately from the post office not leave them there for a week or so, they need collecting immediately.
RETURNS OR REFUNDS
▪︎No returns or refunds are possible for change of mind, if product is faulty or damaged on arrival please contact Sam immediately.
▪︎Plants, seeds and tubers are sold with full confidence of the product I supply. However there is no warranty expressed or implied as to the description, quality, productivity or any other matter of the product supplied, nor shall I be held responsible for the crop in any way.
▪︎In some cases if human error occurs and you receive the wrong tuber, potted plant or cutting once it flowers, you will be offered a refund on that one plant when photos of the plant are supplied, some plants grown from seed may have slight variations to those photos shown on website, that is just the nature of seed and will not be a reason for refund or replacement.
▪︎Dahlias grown from seed are incredibly variable and could give you any colour or form, photos shown on website are just some examples of the dahlia seedlings I have grown from seed, but the possibilities are endless with what flowers may bloom from dahlia seed.
▪︎All seed has been checked for viability by myself, store seed in a cool area, out of direct sunlight and in dry conditions until ready to be sown. Follow sowing instructions carefully, no refunds are offered if seed is not stored or sown correctly which could interfere with germination rates.
▪︎When you receive your plants, seeds or tubers please unpack immediately and inspect, if any issues contact Sam immediately. Do not place tubers or plants in delivery boxes in a hot area or direct sunlight they are perishable items.
▪︎When potted plants are received after having been in transit please water them according and gradually acclimatise them to your growing conditions.
▪︎All dahlias are grown by myself and triple checked by myself when packed making sure tubers have eyes and tubers themselves are in good shape. If you have any issues with how they look when you receive them please contact Sam immediately. Any dahlias Sam then believes are not ok will be returned to Sam via Aus post and the tuber will be refunded to the buyer once received by Sam, replacements may not be offered at all, as dahlia stock is very limited.
▪︎No responsibility will be on the seller if your dahlias do not grow, please follow storage and planting instructions carefully, store correctly until planting and do not over water or allow to dry out, you will need to monitor the tubers. Every climate and soil type is different so it is very important you learn what works in your individual environment, dahlias can be damaged by frost, over watering, under watering, slugs/snails or other pests, herbicide damage if you use contaminated soil, and without correct plant supports, dahlias can snap in wind or heavy rain, or if flowers get too heavy for stems, all of which is out of my control, make sure you plant after risk of frost has passed which varies from state to state.
▪︎To the best of my ability I remove all dahlias with obvious virus from my collection, however if your dahlias show any signs of being unhealthy I hold no responsibility and no refund or exchange with be offered, as dahlia viruses can be dormant and only show themselves if plants are under stress, also dahlia viruses can be transmitted by a huge range of other common garden plants or weeds, so no replacement or refund is offered for unhealthy or underperforming dahlias.
FLOWER DELIVERIES
▪︎When flowers are received please store them correctly as they are a perishable item, store flowers out of direct sunlight and extreme weather conditions including heat or rain or wind, please change water daily to extend harvest time. Wedding or DIY flowers must be accepted and signed for by a person of your choice and flowers must be stored within correct temperature limits, preferably between 8C and 15C, I will not be held responsible for flowers wilting or not holding when kept at the incorrect temperature or in direct sunlight or wind or rain.
▪︎For wedding flower deliveries I must be given access to the reception with enough time to set up flowers, I am not responsible for setting up any other décor other that placing flowers on the tables. If you’d like to hire me to install other décor you have purchased for your wedding day then I can quote you on the extra time that will take. Delivery of wedding flowers to the venue and delivery of bridal bouquets to the bride prior to wedding and buttonholes to the groom prior to wedding can be quoted by Sam depending on time frames of your wedding day and distance etc will cause the prices will vary. If you’d like Sam to remove all your flowers after the wedding is over then an additional fee can be quoted to you.
▪︎ The particular flowers that are included in the flower bunches, DIY buckets or wedding flowers are chosen by the grower and depend entirely on what is blooming and in season and the time of order, no particular colours or products are guaranteed to be included in said flowers. Photos on website are for reference only and subject to change without notice. Flowers that are preordered but can not be supplied due to being damaged by weather will either be refunded, or if replacements are available I will try to offer those for you.
SHIPPING OF CHRYSANTHEMUMS
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
▪︎Please note I am one person running this entire shop; propagating plants, dividing dahlias, digging up the berries, saving seeds, packing the orders, taking the photos, running the website, harvesting and arranging the flowers etc, all while weeding, sowing seed, planting and caring for the flower farm, so some stock is limited to the amount I can possibly grow. For that reason there are limits applied on some stock, please respect these so others can enjoy the flowers too.
▪︎No preorders can be made for dahlias, berries or chrysanthemums.
▪︎Bren Webb makes all our metal work and flower press products, as they are handcrafted they may show very slight differences to photos on website. Metal work product may start off black but will age with the weather for a lovely rustic look, some metal work products may come with the rust look already.
▪︎Dahlias and chrysanthemums sell quickly and if items are in your cart but sold out before the sale is complete you will need to remove those items from your cart before processing the rest of your order. Unfortunately there are no cart holds, I apologise if you miss out on varieties you really wanted however with the demand for these products being so high, I simply can not grow enough for everyone.

▪︎The garden and farm are both closed to the public, and I am unable to run tours of either the garden or the flower farm.
▪︎As I am one person doing so much work I do not currently have the time to offer consultations, I often have tips and tricks to growing on my instagram, and I will continue to add additional info on my blog post section of my website. If you require a phone call conversation to gather my knowledge then I reserve the right to charge you for my time of $340 per hour, the phone conversations will be by appointment only at a time that suits, if I see it as needed. Any information from my website or information given directly by me is my opinion and my learnt info, that info is not to be shared with others as your own information and not to be sold for profit.
▪︎I reserve the right to correct errors or omissions on this website at the time of processing orders. Stock is believed to be available as offered at the time of publication but I reserve the right to withdraw products from sale if unavailable or not suitable for sale. All dahlias and chrysanthemums and displayed on my website for reference, after dividing and storing not all varieties may be offered for sale.
▪︎ I reserve the right to cancel any orders at any time, if I see fit. Please remember to be kind to the flowers farmers, who grow the things you highly desire, as you may find orders are cancelled if you are rude or pushy. Yes I understand dahlias, chrysanthemums and berries and in high demand but stock is limited and being pushy won’t get you the result you desire, it may get your order cancelled entirely.
▪︎ If by some error shipping costs are insufficient for your order you will be contacted and asked to pay the additional shipping costs or your order may be cancelled at my discretion.
▪︎Any purchases made by using bots are banned from my website. Anyone caught using a bot will be automatically refunded for their order and may be charged a $5 restocking fee or 6% of total sale. Not only are bots bad for the environment by continuously using energy, but they create strain on servers, bots are also unfair to everyone waiting patiently for sales, hence why I will not accept any purchases from people who use them for purchases.

▪︎I do not use, nor provide customer information to third parties for any reason other than to provide my services to you. While care is taken to protect your personal information on the website, unfortunately no data transmission over the Internet is guaranteed as 100% secure. Accordingly, I cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you send to myself or receive from myself online. This is particularly true for information you send to me via email as I have no way of protecting that information until it reaches me.
