Blackberry Thornless Chester plant

Blackberry Thornless Chester plant
The flavour of these juicy plump blackberries is very close to the wild blackberry; very sweet and floral, however the berries are much firmer than wild blackberries, so the Chesters hold their shape and don't squash as easily. They have stunning pink flowers, which then turn into these dark plump berries that ripen over a very long period, on long upright smooth canes. They are last of all the varieties of bramble berries I grow to ripen in my garden. The thornless canes are excellent for floral work as they are strong, upright and smooth, so there are no thorns to work around while arranging.
1 dormant bare rooted plant, ready to be planted out.
Can ship to anywhere in mainland Australia except WA, NT and TAS. Please note I know everyone would like to try growing lovely berries, please note I am limited by the speed of Australia post express shipping which is quicker to major cities and within Victoria but slower to regional areas in other states. So if you are in a very regional area in SA, NSW OR QLD and it is hot there and you know your packages are often delayed coming all the way from Victoria please maybe reconsider ordering them or just note the plants may need more time to recover after shipping to be back to their best, they will need protection from extreme heat and they will need adequate watering to establish their root system, if its already too hot there to manage this perhaps wait until next winter to purchase your berries. I grow each one of these plants from my own stock with love and care and take my time to pack them incredibly well to ship, so I do my absolute best to give them the best chance at thriving.
Limited to one per customer.
