Autumn fruiting raspberries are primocane varieties, meaning they produce fruit in their first year of growth, which is great for people who don't like waiting for their raspberries to start producing. This also means they are the easiest sort of raspberries to prune, simply cut all the canes to the ground in winter, and they will reshoot in spring, and then fruit in autumn. 'Autumn Bliss' is a prolific producer however has a slightly shorter season than the 'Heritage'.
