Lawtonberries have a wonderful blackberry taste and aroma and are slightly sweeter than the Boysenberries which fruit at the same time. They grow on thorny canes and are an early to mid season berry, harvested in Melbourne from December to January. They have a deep purple/black coloured berries up to 20 mm long.
