Ugly duckling stock are farm grade tubers that I would have no problem planting myself, however, they are not quite perfect tubers. The tubers themselves will grow perfectly fine but they that might have a bit of skin missing, be a smaller tuber, or have a healed up cut on the tuber or a bit shrivelled or dry, they will still grow and become beautiful plants with lots of blooms.

A giant dahlia, in a soft lemon colour with the occasional sweet blush, good stems for cutting.
