These Hibiscus have dramatic dark stems with deep red calyces dotted along them. A very attractive shrub, great cut as these stems demand attention and are something a little bit different to the standard filler.

The thrive in a warmer climate but are still very productive where I grow mine in Victoria, just make sure to start the seeds early indoors so they get a long season, just like tomatoes.
